Basilic - A gentle soap made with local oils
Joining the ranks
Basilic is the new member joining the gang of Slowhug soaps (after being in beta for over an year). Formulated to be a gentle soap with generous creamy lather, it keeps skin moist after a good wash. Besides, it is a hard, all season bar that can weather rainy days and humid climates.
Localized Soaping
When I started my journey of soaping 4 years ago, little I knew about the oils available in India. I was amazed with the art of making soap with oils and lye.
Kudra — Version 2.0
Kudra has a new version. It is harder and creamier.
Sunaina Kajal
Sunaina, meaning “Beautiful eyes” is a Kajal handmade with herbs in a traditional way. This is a long lasting Kajal safe for everyday use. In fact, Sunaina is the culmination of our search for a good Kajal for our daughter, who is training in Odissi Dance and applies Kajal quite frequently. This small, safe Kajal, easy to carry around and lasting a couple of years is a favourite among women.
Kudra in the making
Kudra (name inspired by a character in Jitterbug Perfume and also meaning Love in Tanzania) is a gentle, moisturising soap made from saponified oils of Mahua, Sesame, Castor & Coconut with Cow’s milk to enhance its moisturising properties. It has a relaxing & uplifting fusion of Juniper berry and Lavender.
